Operation MWR brings an unforgettable night of music to the NAS Jacksonville Flightline on October 18, featuring headliner Jelly Roll with special guest Shaboozey and opening act Hueston. Enjoy chart-topping hits, high energy, and moments you won’t want to miss—all free for MWR-eligible patrons. Gates open at 4:30 PM and the concert will end at 10 PM.
Tickets: This is a non-ticketed free event with no registration required. Just show up!
Event Eligibility: Event guests with valid Department of Defense (DoD) ID cards and base access are eligible to attend. Authorized DoD ID cardholders with sponsor privileges may bring up to 2 guests per ID. Guests must remain with their sponsor at all times and present a REAL ID for access.
Common Event Access Questions:
- I have base access. Can I attend the concert? Yes.
- I have military dependent children. Do they count as my guests? No. Military dependent children are authorized MWR patrons themselves and do not count as guests.
- My military dependent child is under 18 years old. Can they sponsor a guest onto the base? No. Military dependents must be at least 18 years old to sponsor anyone onto the base. Children under 18 are not eligible to act as sponsors.
- I am a DOD Civilian. Does my child count as a guest? Yes, your child is considered a guest as they are not an authorized MWR patrons.

- Note: MWR Cards issued from NS Mayport will not give you access to this event as NAS Jacksonville does not offer the MWR Card program.

- Camp style chairs, blankets and strollers are permitted.
- All personal items should be discarded in the proper receptacles or removed from the event site when you depart.
- Other items that in the judgment of security pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of the event by other guests. Prohibited items discovered during security inspections at the checkpoints must be either returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. No safekeeping locations will be provided at the event. Prohibited items discovered inside the venue or any items left unattended are subject to confiscation and proper disposal. All attendees accept full liability for any personal items brought to the event.
Handicap Services:
- Directional signage will guide you to the handicap parking lot, located at the end of Ranger Rd by Gate 116. Valid documentation is required. Parking is available until the lot is full.
- Enter the concert venue at Gate 116.
- Handicap seating is available for the guest plus one caretaker and has limited capacity. Some chairs are provided, but caretakers are encouraged to bring their own.
Food: Enjoy 25+ local food trucks and command-run food booths! Food trucks will offer a variety of meals along with drinks like soda, water and flavored lemonade. Most vendors accept cash and cards plus an ATM will be available on site for your convenience. MWR drink tickets are not valid for these locations.
MWR Beverage Booths: Alcohol will be available exclusively at MWR beverage booths, which will serve soda, water, wine, seltzers and beer. MWR beverage booths accept drink tickets only--stop by a Drink Ticket Tent to purchase. An ATM will be available on site for your convenience.
Outside food or beverage of any kind is prohibited however one (1) factory sealed single-use 16.9 oz or smaller water bottle per person only is authorized. There is no potable water on the airfield.
Drink ticket sales end at 8:30 PM and alcohol sales end at 9 PM.
Parking: Patrons may park in any non-reserved parking space on base. The event entry to the flightline is located on Albermarle Ave. Please refer to the above linked map for directions. Additionally, MWR is offering a complimentary shuttle service.
Complimentary Shuttle Service: MWR is pleased to offer complimentary shuttle service for this event. Guests are welcome to park and walk to the concert entrance, or park near one of the designated shuttle stops to catch a ride. Shuttles will begin running at 3 pm on a 15-minute loop. Service will continue for one hour after the show ends and will be extended as needed to ensure all guests return to their vehicles safely. Click here for information on shuttle stop locations.
